The Border Inspection Post (BIP) of the Port of A Coruna, executed under the direction of ICEACSA Group, comes into operation

Promoted by the Port Authority of A Coruña, the objective of the BIP is to improve the control service of goods that enter through the Port and should be subject to an inspection process.

In 2010 the Port Authority of A Coruña contracts ICEACSA Group the Technical Assistance for Controlling the Execution of Works of the BIP, a task that has been successfully developed since then and that culminates now with the coming into operation of this facility early August.

The starting of this building, with 800 m2 and 5 loading docks for trucks, will make a significant improvement in the process of inspecting the goods arriving at the Port, because of the fact that it will can achieve 500 inspections a year.

In addition to this work, ICEACSA Group has been developing for the Port Authority of A Coruña, the Technical Assistance for Controlling the Execution of Works of the new Cruise Terminal on the Port of A Coruna.
