The objective of the consultancy is to contribute to the development of a Comprehensive Strategic Plan, based on the management of sustainable mobility.

ICEACSA Group has been selected by the Ministry of Transport and Public Works of Uruguay for the “Working out of the Development Plan for Transport Infrastructure and Logistics for the Access to Montevideo Port Zone,” process in which last phase ICEACSA Group has competed with PWC-INECO Consortium and CSI Engineers -TEIRLOG Engineering Consortium.

Concentrated Logistics Area with Impact in the Study Area

The consultancy work to be performed by ICEACSA Group, awarded by just over $ 1 million, will detail the actions to be undertaken in the medium and long term to improve transport infrastructures and logistical of the access to the Port Area of the City of Montevideo and their management avoiding that heavy vehicles use the road of the city to reach the port area from the planned logistics areas on the periphery, all from a comprehensive point of view, both national and departmental jurisdiction, and always under the premise of sustainable mobility management.

With the award of this contract, ICEACSA Group will start to provide its services also in Uruguay, one of the most attractive countries for foreign investment in Latin America.
