The prize recognizes the work of ICEACSA Group for Project Management internationalization, which has been recently supported by the award of a contract for Structuring road Concessions for approximately U.S. $ 12 MM in Colombia.

His Excellency Mr. Julián Efrén Ossa, Plenipotentiary Minister of the Embassy of Colombia in Spain, and the President of CESINE Editorial Group Mr. José María Álvarez, gave Project 2012 prize to ICEACSA Group last week, in recognition of the hard work being done by the company for the internationalization of Project Management.

Specifically, last June, ICEACSA Group received the official notification of its status as contractor, as leader of the international consortium “UT EM&A-TVA-CINC-PEYCO-ICEACSA”, of the contract “Specialized Consulting for Structuring Road Concessions: Group 2 Center West”, which covers 550 km of roads approximately, divided into three stretches, and for a fixed amount of 11,7 MM USD (21,497,671,000 POPs (colombian pesos)).

Works will follow the principles established by the Project Management and highlight the importance technical advisers are charging in such services, as the structuring of concessions consists of the feasibility analysis of them on all issues (technical, demand, environmental, social-land, legal and financial) and commercializing of concessions until its adjudication, which will suppose not only preparing the tender specifications, but also the promotion and support in the tendering phase of the concessions, all tasks in which the advice of an expert engineering at road infrastructure, such as ICEACSA group, is essential.
