THE CONTRACT FOR THE STRUCTURING AMOUNTS TO 8,500 MILLION PESOS (MORE THAN 2.3 MILLION EUROS), COVERS APPROXIMATELY 760 KM OF ROAD CORRIDORS AND CONFIRMS ICEACSA GROUP AS A LEADING ENGINEERING COMPANY IN COLOMBIA IN THE INTEGRAL STRUCTURING OF PROJECTS

The Colombian National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) awarded the Consortium Estructuración ICEACSA Grupo – BONUS last Friday, the specialized consultancy for the structuring of the new project New Road Network in Valle del Cauca, which will improve transport connectivity in the country.

The contract has been awarded for 8,500 million pesos (more than 2.3 million euros) and includes the integral structuring of approximately 760 km of roads in all its aspects (technical, administrative, social, property, environmental, financial, accounting and legal) and the commercialization of the concessions until they are awarded, which will involve both the preparation of the tender specifications and the promotion and support in the bidding phase of the concessions.

This contract came about as a consequence of the Arbitral Court’s decision of November 26th, 2016, which generated the reversion of the corridor of the Concession Contract 005 of 1999, and therefore the need to structure a project that includes the road corridors delivered in the mentioned concession contract and additionally new corridors that will improve travel times and costs between the center and west of the country.

With this new contract, ICEACSA Group confirms its position in Colombia as a leading company in the structuring of concessions.
