ICEACSA GROUP PRESENTS THREE PAPERS AT THE II INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF CIVIL ENGINEERING AND TERRITORY

The event, organized by the School of Civil Engineering of Galicia and the Ordem dos Engenheiros of Portugal, Northern Region, and sponsored by ICEACSA Group between others, have chosen as the theme for this year “Water, Culture and Society”.

The next 20 and 21 of May, the Social Centre Auditorium Caixa Nova in Vigo will host the VI Encontro between the School of Civil Engineering of Galicia and the Ordem dos Engenheiros of Portugal, Northern Region, which this year has been matched with the II International Congress of Civil Engineering and  Territory and will be developed around the theme “Water, Culture and Society”.

Water management is one of the common problems in the North of Portugal and Galicia, so the Congress therefore seeks to convey the necessary balance between economic utilitarian values and symbolic, aesthetic and cultural values linked to water.

ICEACSA Group, as well as contributing to the organization of this interesting conference as a co-sponsor, will actively participate in the various events organized and will present three papers with titles “Water Supply to the Metropolitan Area of A Coruña from the Artificial Lake of the Power the Plant of Meirama ” together with AUGAS DE GALICIA and PROYFE, “Improving of Mains Sewer of Breiro river, storm drainage and implementation of Sustainable Urban Drainage Techniques. Boiro (A Coruña)” together with AUGAS DE GALICIA and PROYFE, and “Inventory and Study of Traditional Hydraulic Infrastructures of Industrial character in Galicia” together with AUGAS DE GALICIA and AIN ACTIVE. The three works are success cases in which the Company has satisfied the expectations of its Customers and at the same time has kept its commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment, ensuring an optimal management of water as a scarce and valuable resource.
