ICEACSA Mexico has extended its contract to provide independent engineering services for the monitoring of the Public Private Partnership (PPP) contract for the maintenance of the Pirámides-Tulancingo-Pachuca road section in the states of Mexico and Hidalgo.
The PPP project will cover, until 2027, a section of the free federal network MEX-132 and a section of the free federal network MEX-130, in the states of Mexico and Hidalgo.
In 2017, the Ministry of Communications and Transport developed the contract for the rehabilitation and conservation of the Pirámides-Tulancingo-Pachuca road section under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) scheme.
The project includes the rehabilitation and maintenance of the 183 km long road section, more than 90 bridges and more than 210 drainage works, in order to meet the specifications of the 15 performance standards defined in the contract, which guarantee the adequate level of service of the infrastructure.
ICEACSA Mexico was appointed in December 2017 as Independent Engineer for the technical and administrative monitoring of the project during the rehabilitation and conservation stages. The Management Trust of the PPP contract has extended the term for the provision of services until December 2023, as a consequence of the trust placed in ICEACSA.
