The works of “Interventoría” consist on the Integral Control and Surveillance of the Concession of the Loboguerrero – Buga Corridor, ensuring that the licensee complies with the terms and conditions outlined in its concession contract.

The proposal submitted by the consortium “INTERCONN”, composed of ICEACSA Group and three other colombian companies, has been selected as the best choice among the bids submitted by other eight consortia for the contract “TECHNICAL, ECONOMIC, FINANCIAL, LEGAL, ADMINISTRATIVE, OPERATIONAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIA-LAND SURVEILLANCE OF THE CONCESSION CONTRACT, UNDER A PUBLIC PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP SCHEME, THAT RESULT FROM THE BIDDING PROCESS VJ-VE-LP-005-2012 FOR “LOBOGUERRERO-BUGA” CORRIDOR” promoted by the Infrastructure National Agency (ANI) under the Ministry of Transport of Colombia.

Loboguerrero – Buga Corridor

Loboguerrero – Buga Corridor, with over 55 km in length, is located within the route Bogotá – Buenaventura linking two of the most relevant poles from the point of view of foreign trade of Colombia, connecting the Pacific coast with the interior of country and, in turn, creating a relationship with the Atlantic coast and Venezuela.

The last May was awarded, as a short-term concession, Loboguerrero – Buga stretch, that included rehabilitation, operation and maintenance of this road. With this new contract of surveillance, awarded for over 1.5 million euros and with a term of 36 months, the ANI entrusts the consortium participated for ICEACSA Group in the task of ensuring that deadlines, levels service and other indicators are kept over the period of the concession.

Integral Structuring Concessions, Group 2

In addition to this new work, ICEACSA Group is working actively in Colombia. Among other projects, it is developing the contract for the Integral Structuring of the Concessions, Group 2 “Centro Occidente”, granted last year by more than 8 million euros, being one of the major consulting contracts in 2012 within the Civil Engineering sector in Latin America.
